Feedback: Its not going to fit. Only a Pico will fit in that case. I have used it many times.

Hey assassin, is the 160w PSU w/ 190w ac adapter compatible with the board in planning to use? If so do you think the i5, SSD, 8gb ram will have enough power? This is the biggest pico I could find

You need to be careful with Picopsu as it may not have enough power connectors for what you need. These psu,s are designed for low power systems with low power cpu's and gpu's and a single boot drive. Work out how many connectors you need and match to what the Pico can provide.

ok cool. i found some info on the site but not sure what i need. sorry to be the special case. ill have the i5 with its integrated gpu, an ssd, the case fan. what else needs power?

Looks OK to me as long as the gpu you get doesn't need additional power which only the high end ones need.

awesome thanks for taking a look man. honestly if i can swing the i5 with 8gb ram and ssd in that case ill be happy and call it a day on that build. im in the marine corps out in okinawa. we just got slammed by a cat5 typhoon. worst is over and hopefully mail system doesnt get backed up. as soon as all the parts come in ill post pics of the build andd relay how the performance is.

For the i5 build and possible future GPU, I would go with at least 192w version- picoPSU-160-XT + 192W Adapter Power Kit

If you don't want to mod your Wesena case to fit the connector used by the picoPSU-150/160-XT this will suffice for an Ivy Bridge build like yours that uses the integrated GPU. The picoPSU 160-XT uses a 4-pin mini-DIN connector while the Wesena case has the hole for a 5.5mm barrel connector used by the picoPSU 120 and lower PSUs.

Your normal power consumption for watching video will be around 40W and your system will max out around 80W.
If you're fine drilling holes in your case then ignore.

You shouldn't need a grommet as the hole will be for the picopsu power connector.

The internal connector is held in by two screws and the mini-DIN connector on the AC adapter plugs in securely. The center hole is 10mm so a 13/32 drill bit works well. A titanium drill bit will go right through the 2mm aluminum. The mounting holes are the tough part -- getting them to line up straight.
Does the picoPSU 150/160-XT come with the two tiny hard to find screws for mounting the mini-DIN connector?

After you enlarge the hole and tighten connector the back, it'll looks original...drilling hole is part of DIY......

i was a little disappointed to find that i couldnt order any products directly from wesena because its in the uk. And they are the only ones with a slim slot load drive to match the case. amazon and newegg both showed a listing but it was discontinued. so in about a month or 2 im going to order the slim slot load bd drive. better purchase imo anyways. others changes include mobo, ram and ssd. found a great deal on the sammy ssd. 128gb for 99! also the mobo someone rec'd here only had 3 stars so i opted for a different one with better reviews. and then i got different ram because i intend to play with oc it
