I have RTP Play 2.4.0, but under Live channels - TV/Radio channels, I only see two options.
- Antena1 Madeira
- Antena2 Madeira

I tried uninstalling the addon and re-installing but I get the same result.

It seems the site changed again and the addon needs update. I'll wait a week before fixing it again since it's not usual so many changes on the code so their site changes must be work in progress yet.
In the meanwhile change the stream type in the addon settings from auto to "smil pl" and the channels will appear again.

It'll take a while, unfortunately my time is very limited at the moment but I'll try to have a look when possible. Hopefully they use some kind of hidden api for that section of the wepage as well.

Completely new to Kodi/android box. We went to the rtp play app and it's only showing two antennae channels (under the live tv/radio option). It was working earlier today. There should be RTP 1,2, Azores, etc. Am I the only one that this is happening to?
I have a MXQ android box. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and even restarted the box and nothing.

Yeah i noticed that yesterday, the smil mode on the addon settings should show all the channels but regardless...they probably changed the site. Unfortunately i am full of work to do on the next couple of days but i'll try to fix it once i get some free time

Sent the update to the official repository that fixes the live channels. The update should be available soon.

It looks like RTP have made a few changes to the website and with those they broke the live section again. I am not sure if this is due to the existence of the addon or something else but if they don't allow an external addon to be created for their website it is simpler to just contact me (or the XBMC foundation) requesting its removal...

I can't be simply sending updates to the official repository everyday so this time the update has to be manual. I will think about creating an external repository managed by myself with my addons to keep the update process quicker.

Thanks so much! I tried, and I am getting "script failed!" However, what is quite odd is I am seeing the channels and what is currently on. I am running 14.2 Kodi - this is the version that it came with when I just recently purchased the box. I've heard newer versions do the "script error" or "script failed" with certain apps. I am getting this with Hallmark Channel, Cartoon HD, and some others.
Completely new to this. Would you suggest I upgrade Kodi to have the RTP Play app working?

Hi Raquel, kodi users in this community should know how to update stuff manually. I don't provide any help for preloaded boxes...those are just parasites making money with others work.

-Uninstall the addon
- download the zip version from here: https://github.com/enen92/plugin.video.rtpplay/archive/master.zip
-Install the zip file in system --> addons --> install from zip file

@enen92 Has this come back as an issue again? I am unable to stream any of the RTP channels. I tried removing the addon, restarting kodi and installing your addon master.zip but did not work.Before i used to get "check the log" error but after i installed your zip file i and click on something nothing happens. on version 2.5.3.
