RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - TheGame1986 - 2015-02-12 (2015-02-12, 12:51)LTracte Wrote: I have a question involving channel configuration. a while back, when i set up my channels based on my media library, under the category of movie studios, there used to be a lot more options. on a recent install of kodi and pseudotv live, i attempted to recreate my old channel lineup, but found that many of the movie studios did not show up as options, such as Marvel Studios, Pixar Animation Studio, etc... there used to be at least 20 studios listed, now there are only 11. what happened? Silly question, but if this is a new install, did you add all the same movies back? If not, that's probably your issue. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - TheGame1986 - 2015-02-12 (2015-02-12, 08:11)GoofyJeff Wrote: Forgive the perhaps simple question, but I didn't see an answer readily available while skimming the 500+ pages of this thread. Can Directory channels contain playlists? What I mean is, can I point the Directory channel to a Windows folder which contains nothing but M3U playlists made up of video files from other folders? If this is possible, I'm unable to get it to work. If it isn't possible, may I request this functionality be implemented in a future release? Thanks in advance! Love this add-on, and am discovering new things to do with it all the time! I think, and I may be wrong, that directory channels need some basic information, like video length, etc. An M3U file won't provide that information. This is why I think you cannot also use .strm files in a directory channel. Hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Reb313 - 2015-02-12 Could someone do me a favor, move/backup your settings2.xml and try to autotune internet streams/youtube/etc. and see if it works for you? Thanks! Edit: So I've re-autotuned several times. Sometimes it shows up with a few youtube/internet stream related channels, othertimes nothing. This is so weird. Edit 2: I figured it out. I went to PTVL's new channel manager and noticed that for the not-working channels that the "BROWSE COMMUNITYLIST:" doesn't have anything selected. For example, BILL NYE (youtube channel) is selected under Channel ID: but isn't in Browse Community List. Once you click into the entry box on BROWSE COMMUNITY LIST and select Bill Nye, and save, it works fine. Can someone please pass this onto Luna. While it could be a problem on my end, I don't think it is as I've had successful auto-tunes in the past several days, but as of the last update it's not working. I've wiped my settings entirely several times too. Thanks! Thanks... this is disappointing since it would make what I'm planning on doing with some of my channels more difficult/impossible. Oh well... When building the channels there is a long pause(15min) at 70% which I assume are these channels. I have also waited out until the artwork spooling dialog pops up which iirc signifies the channels have finished loading. Interweave channels in the Advanced Settings of the channel configuration. You may also choose to hide the original channels that you are pulling from, but that is personal choice. I'm not sure what you are implying here, that it is funny that you only gave $2 and managed to get donor status? I get that its a donation and it can be any amount, but come on, give what you feel its worth and what you can afford. His time has to be worth more then $2, even if you are a student, you can spare more to say thank you. Be reasonable with a donation, I have no idea if majority of donations are like this, but that hardly would motivate me to use my spare time to create arguably the best addon for XBMC/Kodi. Awesome thanks, So just to make sure I'm doing this right. Say I want to combine all of the Nasa RSS channels on channel 36. I need to set up each stream on it's own channel and then hide it. Under Channel 36 where I want them all to actually appear I add them there with interleave another channel. But what does Min and Max Interweave count do? And should starting episode just be 1? Thanks!!! Set them all as hidden except for the one you plan on interleaving the rest into (your channel 36). Min and max interleave should indicate how many programs from the hidden channels will be interleaved at a time. If you want them to alternate each time then set both min and max to 1. Example where interleave max and min are both 1 (programs defined by what channels they come from) : >> C36-C100-C101-C102-C103-C36-C101-C102-C100-C103-C36 Example where max is 2, min is 1: >> C36-C100-C100-C101-C102-C103-C103-C36-C100-C101-C101-C102-C103-C103 EDIT: There is also best efforts scheduling which is essentially advanced interleaving where your interleaved channels will be spliced in around a certain scheduled time. For example if you want Channel 100 to be interleaved at 7:00pm every Tuesday. It won't be exact due to uneven program times, but PTVL will interleave it as close to 7 as possible. This will refresh the info for all items in that source. |
