This is still beta if not alpha state, and it's developed by one person alone in his spare time for free. So pay a little bit more respect and don't blame others for your problems. It's probably not getting you the help you want.

Morning Luna

I seem to have and issue with 0.5.8d. My screensaver never kicks in any more, nor does the system shutdown after 1 hour of being idle. Had developer fritcsh look at the logs and we removed PTVL and then my screensaver started working again. I think something in PTVL is preventing kodi from going idle.

There is an option is PTVL to enable screen saver. Do you have it checked?



On the Autotune issue, for those trying to build without it using the new awesome and amazing channel manager, even clicking to bring up the list of community channels takes 5-10 to load, so I'm not sure what's hosting them, but it's having issues. Someone not on Luna's ignore list should pass this onto him.

you should probably learn how to use the new channel manager which is far better anyway.

The problem is that there are no clear instructions on how to manually add channels from a backend other than MediaPortal.

So I have a strange issue where PTVL won't display random channel logos in the guide. I have them set to the exact channel names and they are .png.

Any ideas?

I posted about the same thing back in comment 8393, all of my channels use custom logos and all are renamed with rule #1 to match the logo name and none of my logos will show up, I'm still looking for help, they worked for me up till 58d update

Most of mine work fine, it's a few random ones that won't, and when I try to open certain channels in the PTVL manager (with newest version) I am getting runtime errors.

the only time I get a runtime error is if I exit XBMC when PTVL tells me its running when its not running (which I would expect sense there is something running in the background)

On these channels in the external windows program PTVL manager it says, UNHANDLED EXCEPTION HAS OCCURRED IN YOUR APPLICATION.
Conversation from string "USER SUBSCRIPTION" to type.
Continue - Quit.

I'm not sure what mine said exactly, but with mine I knew what was causing it so I just clicked okay, and my runtime error is a windows pupup, I wish i could help. but I don't use the PTVL manager

On the latest version sometimes ptvl opens and has kodi play controls. This prevents me from being able to access the guide. If I try to exit the channel continues to play in the background and I have to exit Kodi entirely.
