RE: PseudoTV Live - w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Lunatixz - 2015-08-13 (2015-08-13, 19:15)joeyd2424 Wrote: Must admit hate coming to the forums lol but several problems. Pseudo TV either crashes, get an error saying unable to populate channels please make sure you have scraped media, or it will load but once I get to the epg it turns transparent and can not exit unless I force close. Here's a log. Thanks in advance! http://xbmclogs.com/p7axrdapi#line-1 Thank you for the log, I fixed the videowindow problem, fix in next update v.6.6e As for "unable to populate channels" it appears some of your flv files are not properly encoded Code: 10:05:36 T:1788455416 DEBUG: FLVParser: Not a valid FLV The main issue appears to be your usbstorage doesn't have proper file sharing permissions or PTVL doesn't play nice with it... I would suggest trying to mount the usbstorage as a network shared device... then use samba as a video source in kodi. RE: PseudoTV Live - w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - joeyd2424 - 2015-08-13 Thank you Luna. It's been plaguing me the last couple days. RE: PseudoTV Live - w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Litmusdragon - 2015-08-13 Is there any way to exclude two different TV Shows? I have a channel with two exclude rules set, but only the first one is working. Second is ignored. RE: PseudoTV Live - w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Angry Ninja - 2015-08-14 Is anyone else having trouble with 6.6d freezing after going up or down a few rows on the EPG? RE: PseudoTV Live - w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - MrX4000 - 2015-08-14 Mine is .. but I was assuming it was the channel icons I have I am still working through EPG stuff and channel edits ... so it might just be my setup RE: PseudoTV Live - w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Kode - 2015-08-14 PTVL seems to have massively increased the hits to the fanart.tv API in the last few days, is this a bug or just you are using it more? Yesterday it accounted for nearly 60% of all traffic to the API 1. PTVL 6,225,116(58.82%) 2. Plex 939,753(8.88%) 3. Artwork Downloader 724,519(6.85%) This has only happened over the last 3 days or so, so not sure if this is expected behaviour or a bug? Re: RE: PseudoTV Live - w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Lunatixz - 2015-08-14 (2015-08-14, 15:41)Kode Wrote: PTVL seems to have massively increased the hits to the fanart.tv API in the last few days, is this a bug or just you are using it more? Results should be cached, but maybe something broke? I'll check it out, sorry for the hits RE: PseudoTV Live - w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Kode - 2015-08-14 It's not a problem, the API can easily handle the load, just seemed like an odd amount of traffic when it is 3x higher than Plex,Kodi and Artwork Downloader combined, lol RE: PseudoTV Live - w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - aptalca - 2015-08-14 Luna, quick question about the artwork. . . I'm curious about the decision behind using landscape images rather than fanart. In terms of file size they seem to be the comparable. However about a third of my movies don't have landscape images whereas all of them have fanart. And since most skins use fanart images, most people already have them downloaded in their image cache. If ptvl used fanart there would potentially be less hits on fanart.tv (I imagine my ptvl keeps hitting fanart.tv every time it encounters a movie where I don't have a local landscape image. Most likely it ends up not finding one on there either.) Just curious about what makes landscape images better for ptvl. Thanks Re: RE: PseudoTV Live - w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Lunatixz - 2015-08-14 (2015-08-14, 18:31)aptalca Wrote: Luna, quick question about the artwork. . . I use landscape because that's what I prefer and I'm the skins designer PTVL is designed to use fallbacks when the primary art isn't found.... Ie. Landscape falls back to fanart. Has nothing to do with extra hits, sounds more like I broke the fanart caching function... Easy fix RE: PseudoTV Live - w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - aptalca - 2015-08-14 (2015-08-14, 18:43)Lunatixz Wrote:(2015-08-14, 18:31)aptalca Wrote: Luna, quick question about the artwork. . . Fair enough In my experience though it never falls back to fanart. Lately I'm seeing it fall back to the channel icon (like the one with the text "documentary") and if there is no channel icon it shows a blank pic. All my fanart have been cached with artwork downloader using the local option, and they are also exported to external files next to the media on my nas accessible through samba shares RE: PseudoTV Live - w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Angry Ninja - 2015-08-14 (2015-08-14, 13:38)MrX4000 Wrote: Mine is .. but I was assuming it was the channel icons I have Yeah, I've uninstalled/reinstalled many times, deleted caches, tried text instead of logos, etc... Same thing. EPG guide freezes the whole plugin about 4 seconds after the EPG loads, so you can't use the arrow keys to nav the guide at all, or even exit the guide. Reboot is the only way out. I'm surprised it's just you and I reporting it. It's only on 6.6d. No issues with 6.6c doing it, but I don't have a backup of 6.6c, so I have to use Lite until it's fixed. RE: PseudoTV Live - w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Lunatixz - 2015-08-14 (2015-08-14, 21:54)aptalca Wrote:(2015-08-14, 18:43)Lunatixz Wrote:(2015-08-14, 18:31)aptalca Wrote: Luna, quick question about the artwork. . . weird... my fallbacks work... next time you notice a fallback not show fanart, send me the log and give me details to what show and channel didn't work... RE: PseudoTV Live - w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Espionage724 - 2015-08-14 Not sure what happened, but PTVL isn't Autotuning any channels past 2 for me anymore. I have all my media shown from Kodi, and updated the library. PTVL populated channels and found all my media previously without problem, and has done it once before on this particular setup too (was shuffling between various OpenELEC builds before), but I decided to just redo the channels. I'm working on trying to get a log, but I'm having trouble with it. I'm using Arch ARM on a Pi 2 and kodi-rbp, and according to the debug text, Kodi says the log is in /var/lib/kodi/kodi/tmp (or temp), but anything past /var/lib/kodi doesn't seem to exist (and the only things in that folder are 3 crashlogs according to ls). RE: PseudoTV Live - w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Kokonutcreme - 2015-08-15 Luna Is it possible to provide an alternate version of the default skin in PTV that has a lighter background in the EPG? Or is that possible for us to do ourselves? Many of the logos from the logoDB and on the web feature dark text that is impossible to read against a dark background. I've searched the web for mono/white versions of channel logos that I'm using to compensate but there aren't as many available. Kudos on the export to live tv addition, makes channel building so much quicker and user friendly. |
