RE: PseudoTV Live - Set-Top box solution - SmoothSinner - 2015-10-05 (2015-10-03, 08:42)thejayarr Wrote: Anybody else found that this newest 0.6.8 version keeps changing channel on its own? I don't have Kodi as the active window and I don't even need to be touching the keyboard or mouse and it'll just switch up or down one channel at a random time. Kinda makes the addon useless because I can't actually watch anything. You're not alone on this. Can you provide a location to help users find the answers so maybe you won't have to read that question 4 more times RE: PseudoTV Live - Set-Top box solution - thatguy188 - 2015-10-06 Hey guys, Is there anywhere a XMLTV file posted? Im so confused as to how it works. I have a bunch of channels added that stream live TV through another addon, but in PseudoTV they just say, for instance, USA Network with no tv guide showing. I do understand it pulls it from a xmltv file, so can someone share theirs by chance? zap2xml has been running for over an hour now and I have my doubts, it might be pulling every single tv channel? Is there a nice guide somewhere at least that I can go off of? Thank You RE: PseudoTV Live - Set-Top box solution - shakuyi - 2015-10-06 (2015-10-05, 22:23)mrdally204 Wrote:(2015-10-05, 17:53)bry- Wrote:(2015-10-05, 16:04)SmoothSinner Wrote: You're not alone on this. you do realize the FAQ has been stickied below this thread for some time right? In case you still have not seen it here you go: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=221397 you should attempt to help yourself before criticizing others, its in the most visible place it can be. RE: PseudoTV Live - Set-Top box solution - mrdally204 - 2015-10-06 Most visible place would be in this thread, but I appreciate the help. If I realized the FAQ was stickied in another post I would have posted that information instead of being the 5th person looking for the answer. This thread is in my favorites and is the thread I check. The first post is where I gather my information about changes and what works/doesn't. As I also pointed out (and has since been changed by Luna) the faq in the post pointed to the 3rd post in this thread and had no faq. So after trying to help myself, I used the forum to ask for help. In doing so it brought you to sign up for an account on here and provide valuable information. Welcome to the community and thanks for the link. The criticizing is more about forums in general now. It seems like a user can't ask a question that has already been asked without being made a target for ridicule. The whole point of a forum is supposed to be a user community with shared interest to talk, help, and share ideas. RE: PseudoTV Live - Set-Top box solution - bry - 2015-10-06 That is not our fault only so much can be done and nothing will cover all of our bases. RE: PseudoTV Live - Set-Top box solution - Necromancyr - 2015-10-07 Ok, I feel like I'm definitely missing something somewhere. Been searching for an hour and can't find anything like what I'm encountering. Basically, LiveTV works fine via Kodi - NextPVR backend, EPG through NextPVR, all works well. When I try to add a LiveTV channel through a PVR source in PseudoTV Live, it tells me there are no channels available. Not certain what's missing, what I need or...even how to troubleshoot this. Any ideas would be appreciated. RE: PseudoTV Live - Set-Top box solution - bornagainpenguin - 2015-10-07 I just wanted to say thanks, the youtube and RSS feeds are now loading for me again as of version 0.6.8b! Is there a trick to ensuring that the logos for a show shows up? I have saved a few offline custom logos in the folder to ensure that logos exist for some genre channels but they don't seem to be found for some reason. Other times they do load in some instances but not others. Ideas? RE: PseudoTV Live - Set-Top box solution - mrdally204 - 2015-10-07 (2015-10-07, 03:16)Necromancyr Wrote: Ok, I feel like I'm definitely missing something somewhere. Been searching for an hour and can't find anything like what I'm encountering. I have the same issue, using NextPVR as my backend as well. From what I gathered you need to add "pvr://" and "upnp://" as video sources in Kodi and PseudoTV should be able to find your backend. I have not had any success with this yet either. I wonder if it is a NextPVR issue? Has anyone had success getting NextPVR to populate in PLTV on Kodi 15+? Edit: I posted a question about this issue here, a resolution was not found to this point unfortunately. Feel free to post there and maybe we can work to a solution. Yup, 0.6.8b fixed the problems I've been having RE: PseudoTV Live - Set-Top box solution - mrdally204 - 2015-10-07 (2015-10-07, 04:58)BadKarma Wrote:(2015-10-07, 04:32)mrdally204 Wrote: [quote='Necromancyr' pid='2125695' dateline='1444180581'] I did see his response but I'm not having any success, the "pvr://" source exists on this machine. I updated my post with a log, hope it's something obvious I'm not doing..... Is that the options you were referring to? I'd like to keep this convo in my original thread if possible. Keep this one cleaned and all my troubleshooting in one place to hopefully help then next person |
