Crash immediately after launch - quartermain - 2014-08-10 About 30% of the time XBMC crashes just after launch, while it is populating the EPG database. It's 13.1 on Windows 8.1 64-bit with Argus TV backend (hence this thread) on the same machine. Here's what I see in the Event Log: Faulting application name: XBMC.exe, version: 13.1.0.0, time stamp: 0x538eb17e Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 6.3.9600.17031, time stamp: 0x5308893d Exception code: 0xc0000374 Fault offset: 0x000df996 Faulting process ID: 0xb38 Faulting application start time: 0x01cfb0d9dd08b4d7 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\XBMC\XBMC.exe Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll Report ID: 1c1d31cc-1ccd-11e4-8276-94de80b7f16e Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: and about 14 seconds later this: Fault bucket 73309071822, type 1 Event Name: APPCRASH Response: Not available Cab Id: 0 Problem signature: P1: XBMC.exe P2: 13.1.0.0 P3: 538eb17e P4: StackHash_6129 P5: 6.3.9600.17031 P6: 5308893d P7: c0000374 P8: PCH_06_FROM_ntdll+0x0003D72C P9: P10: Attached files: C:\Users\xbmc\AppData\Local\Temp\WER22B0.tmp.WERInternalMetadata.xml These files may be available here: C:\Users\xbmc\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportArchive\AppCrash_XBMC.exe_3d683fce58f8653f567b64d89e89885bc62eb0dc_9dd1a96e_0073599f Analysis symbol: Rechecking for solution: 0 Report ID: 1c1d31cc-1ccd-11e4-8276-94de80b7f16e Report Status: 0 Hashed bucket: d85ff560db91593a7c69611a43616e7f I can't find either of the files mentioned above unfortunately. I'd appreciate advice on how I can get more information about what might be causing this. |
