Calling xbmc default player thru command line - DanWho - 2014-09-01

Hi

first of all appologies if this question is in the wrong forum.

Can we invoke xbmc's default player ( named DvdPlayer as i reacall ) from the command line ?

Say i have a vid file on the hard drive, Can I open the file using the xbmc default player such as

$> DvdPlayer path_to_file

OS is Open Elec,
