so read the ticket http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/5680

Upped Rev17143

Upped 17152-no-intel build.

I removed the Intel patch from rev 16912. Removing that patch allows XBMC to minimize when using the launcher plugin and restore itself when the launched app is closed.

Alt-Tab working great with this removed.

The resolution detection added in 17140 still works partially. I might be an isolated case, don't know, but for me the current 90 limit (or... I see only 90 resolutions, don't know if it's a limit or something) still isn't enough, as my plasma screen's EDID gives a huge amount of strange resolutions. The funny thing is that this excludes just the ones I'd need... Sad I'll post in the trac about it.
Also, Jester, are you going to post an updated external player build or are you waiting for the changes to be incorporated into SVN (or maybe waiting for CapnBry work on Intel stuff...)?

I'm going to do an update, need to do some testing for the patch we are working on...

In theory it isn't limited in praxis it might be limited to 128 as the guisettings dialog is currently set to 128.

jester, if i might ask

what does this mean

Quote:Revert "modified: Allow xbmc to be built with internal and external ffmpeg libraries."

in Changeset 17178

if possible could you upload new build with ffmpeg-mt?

it will be possible to use external libs (at least for linux, haven't looked at win32 yet) however they are still working on this, so let's hold off for a few to see this settle a bit more.

on the ffmpeg-mt patch, yes i will do another build of this, but follow this on the right thread here
