hmmm tried to configure my logitech remote but i wont succeed
i have an antec fusion remote 350 with an imon ir remote included. i also have an logitech harmony one.
i tried to set my harmony as an microsoft mce keyboard, this works but when i try to do control my xbmc or windows it keeps getting up or down the whole time.
i tried to set my harmony as an antec fusion remote but this wont work in xbmc.
what can i do to solve this problem. i tried almost every option available

Finally I bought on Ebay article "New Linksys MCE Remote Controll + HP Receiver XP WIN7" and I am using HP transceiver only with Harmony 525. HP transceiver has P/N#5187-5049.
Everything works!!!

This won't work with my Adesso ARC-1100. I can set it up in the harmony software but when i use the "device" my IR receiver doesn't recognize it. I know this because it normally lights up when getting a signal.
Might have to try a different remote/receiver I guess.

Just wanted to report that I bought the HP IR receiver on ebay. It cost $14 and shipped from Hong Kong. Surprisingly it arrived in about 5 days! I just set it up as a MCE keyboard and everything works great!

Same here, I was having trouble with my Microsoft receiver (it would randomly stop working) and bought the HP one. I simply unplugged the Microsoft one and plugged in the HP one (without even shutting down) and my harmony continued to function normally.

Good to hear. I just ordered one of these as well. 5 days to ship from Hong Kong is impressive, I am hoping mine arrives soon.

Be aware all of you! 5 days shipping means time frame between payment registration and shipping. You have to count additional days for delivery. In my case (Europe) was 22 days (2 days shipping + 22 days delivery = 27 days total).
But anyhow it's worth waiting

This seems like a great way of setting up a Harmony but I can't get the shortcut key working on Win7 x86. I tried F7, F8, F9 but no luck. I tried Ctrl-Alt with those keys but it may open XBMC once out of every 10 tries. Are there any other options to start XBMC?

I got my "New Linksys MCE Remote Controll + HP Receiver XP WIN7" today. I can;t seem to get ANY keyboard commands to work using XBMC 9.11 Live.
Yes, I do have "use keyboard commands" option selected.
So I'm sort of bummed, all I want is to be able to add subtitle toggle and codec info to my current setup.
