make selected picture in panel view not faded - noox - 2010-01-31
The one thing that doesn't make sense for me is the selected picture in panel view (the bigger one on the left hand side). How come it's faded? It makes sense for music and movies to have the fanart this way because of the text but for pictures I think it should be unaltered.

All my pictures are named '0575978759287ABFTRE.JPG', etc. (nice huh?!)
At any rate, is it possible in the Picture (panel view) to not have the picture name show up above the preview? Or, what line would I need to comment out or delete to have it not show?

can you please add a FILES submenu on the Home Screen to music, like these in movies and shows ...
With this, the whole handling of Alaska will be much straighter.

I removed it from the sub menu simply because you change to and from the Library & File modes from the Music section.

What I'm missing, is a "lite" version of alaska.
I'm running xbmc under ubuntu on a appletv (not much ram),
and I have been using alaska for a while. I used the previously uploaded alaska.rar from
mediafire, and it have worked very good.
Problem is that after I upgraded to the latest release, everything have been slow.
Menus and scrolling lag, and mkv hd files us useless, there is to much "judder". So it's useless on my appletv
All of this probably has something to do with the latest release using aprox 20-25MB more of my ram.
So atm i'm still using the previous release. But don't misunderstand me, i'm very pleased with that, only fear I have is what I will do the day it won't work with the latest svn of xbmc

Everything looks FANTASTIC, and I was wondering if it's possible to request one single, yet globally effective change. Is it easy (feasible and acceptable) to put in a radio button that can 'lock out' the users' ability to change the specific views? I usually use the 'Poster Wrap' view for both Movies and TV Shows and 'Wall' for Music, and would prefer if I could lock out the viewers' ability to change the view. I always add new movies, and would still like the ability to use the arrow buttons to change media information (Get Fanart, Get Thumb, etc.) but I think locking down the views would be awesome.
Any chance to have this put in?

Hi Hitcher,
I am not sure if anyone has requested this but I´ve made a search trough the forums and I couldn´t find no one asking.
When the option to syncronize subtitles appears the menu disappears wich is great, so you can see the picture, but the osd bar on the bottom of the screen is still there and is imposible to see the subtitles, making very difficut to adjust the timing.
Could be possible to make that bottom bar disappear when the menu to synchronize shows up on the screen?
