Upgraded now wont run - kalhua - 2010-04-02
I just upgraded to the latest svn and now when I click on the xbmc icon nothing happens. To make matters worse I tried to install a package (xbmc_28960-1_i386.deb) which seems to install fine. I dont know how to get back to something that operates. I am hoping someone can/will help me out.

I cant get a log because it wont run. Seem like it is uninstalled as it doesnt shup up where it use to but all of the directory structure remains. I tried to apt-get update and it says current version installed.
I was on 9.11 when I started out and tried to update to the latest svn (ppa method). The first thing I tried was the Revision 28276. After that install I could not even get into XBMC. So after trying a few different thing I decide to get the latest "unofficial build" That is where I tried the deb package I listed in my post.
My Ubuntu is 9.10
i386 system
