Never mind, figured it out, would be nice if the site explains how to do it, not everybody is as smart as Y.T..

I'm going to make it easier, but currently where it says "Search for logo" if you put the name (or part of) click search, if it comes up with a result click on it and theres an upload box, if it doesnt come up with anything, put the id into the "Add new: thetvdb id" in the request section and click request, it will be added to the request list, then you can click on it and upload
*edit* or you can just put the id in the request section, if nothing happens its already in the shows section, you can search or browse by letter, otherwise it will add it as a request so you can upload

@MarkAsRead: I see you've been doing a lot of the anime logos. Just a quick thought...have you thought about redoing them by hand just using Japanese fonts? Here's a quick one I whipped up. While it's not exact, it is a bit cleaner.
If anything you could replace the smaller characters where it's harder to remove the white background as seen in the top characters.

Well I have thought about it, maybe I should try it.
You just copy the name from something like Wikipedia, right?

Yeah, just a simple copy and paste unless you're feeling adventurous...
Here are a few fonts that will help you out:

The English parts, ie: MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM UNICORN, are a font called Serpentine. Though it's a commercial font, I was able to find some free ones. Google "Serpentine" and the first link should point you to 3 free ones.

I've updated the search so now if the search doesn't find any matches it will give you up to 10 results from thetvdb that you can click on to request, it also returns them even if it does find some matches, in case the matches it finds arent what you are after.

Cleaned up MarkAsRead's Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. While it was good, there were still too many jagged edges and white bleed-through. Quick question mate and I apologize if it comes across as rude but do you check the image against a dark / black image before uploading?

Excellent idea mate! Any chance we can get this added to the site as well? Maybe as a front page with updates and requests and not the 0-9 logos that is there?
