It look to me like I have the latest version. Just uninstalled and installed the add-on, and it still says version 2.5.9.
Where in the add-on menu do I find 2.9.21 ? Am I missing a repository update or something?

I cant comment on what you have on your setup, but latest atv2 build should, and do have the eden-repo in it that has 2.9.21.
try force refreshing the XBMC repo and check for updates, alternatively install via zip option from http://mirrors.xbmc.org/addons/eden-pre/script.xbmc.subtitles/

Ok so I updated to 2.9.21, but the same problem persists. I am now able to exit the subtitle browser and resume the video, but still can't download the subtitle.

is that a debug log? is dubuging enabled? I cant see any spew from the script
EDIT: just tested here and all is working fine, could it be that opensubtitles is having the issue for you? have you tried downloading on any other service?
EDIT2: "09:31:38 T:149450752 DEBUG: Using proxy http://:8080" <-- you using the proxy?? please disable the proxy and try again

Subtitles invisible - zidewinder - 2011-09-06
Hardware: ATV2
Xbmc version: Git: 20110825-44b59c9 Compiled aug 25
Ios version: 4.3
Skin: Confluence
All my subs i downloaded myself is working 100%, but when i start a movie/Tv serie SD or HD and goes to the osd menu i click on the icon and there i can choose betwen alot of subs.
I choose one and it says "downloading subtitles" and the windows closes when its done, but i cannot see the sub. If i go to subtitle menu when movie is playing the subs are enabled and the sub i choosed is there.
And when i quit the movie and restart it the sub is gone in the subtitle menu.
Is my ATV2 locked somehow so he cant save the subs i download?

Sorry for that.
I started the debug log, and then i did all that i wrote about. And after that i turned off the debug log and copied it.
Hope is the right way to do it.

Yeah. I started a tv serie and loaded in some subtitles. But one thing was strange. I couldnt see the debug log right away. I needed to wait one minute before i saw that while updating with F5.

there is nothing in a log about you running the addon, cant help without seeing the error
did you restore your userfolder on ATV2? if yes, did you try doing http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=786571&postcount=4 ?

Here is a new debug log. I read it myself and see alot of Xbmc subtiitle, but cannot understand so much about it.

I have done that thing in your link. Didn't do anything. When subtitle is downloaded. Is it saved in same folder where the movie are?
