Media and Win 7 - Rcreagh - 2010-07-11 My current issue is that all my media is sitting a partition made by windows, and can only be seen by windows. (I don't know the in's and outs of this). I have installed XBMC along side Win 7 because I like the change of pace from windows. Am I going to have to install XBMC in windows to gain access to my music, or is there something I can do linux side to see the files. FYI, XBMC, Windows and all my media (pics, videos and music) are all on their own partitions. - vikjon0 - 2010-07-11 you can mount the windows paritition in xbmc(linux). Look for mount ntfs partition ubuntu on the google. - jhsrennie - 2010-07-11 There is certainly entertainment value in doing things the hard way, though unless you enjoy the operating system equivalent of an Adventure game (you are in a maze of twisty passages) wouldn't it be easier to just run XBMC on Windows?
