I concur with Memphiz, both the Sleep Timer and 1st Launch bugs have been fixed in the latest build (020311). Off to the fixed list they go.

Thx for the build.

Thanks Meshuga,

I´ll try to see if the buffering problem is better.

Werther

I too can confirm that the startup twice bug no longer exsists in this latest build and my sleep settings are being remembered, great work meshuga.

Increase in buffering so far here. I'll throw some more files at it tonight but may revert back to 2/1 to compare tomorrow. One file in particular that was fixed with 2/1 is back to buffering every 30 seconds or so.

Code:
wget http://music.hadm.net/~keith/xbmc_atv2/org.xbmc-020111_atv2-arm.deb

You were absolutely right. Thanks so much friend.

Thanks for the tip. Learning so much. Cheers

rawillkill Wrote:$ dpkg -i org.xbmc-020111_atv2-arm.deb

So does that mean the next instruction:

$ rm -rf (file from url) will be

$ rm -rf org.xbmc-020111_atv2-arm.deb ?

Just wanted to be sure.

Thanks

yes. the last command simply removes the .deb after xbmc has been installed. think of it as housekeeping-like you are deleting a .dmg or .zip file after installing a program.

I *love* the fact I can SSH into this tiny little box attached to my TV from work and install the latest nightly...!

Thanks Meshuga.
