Hehe - if they understand "the situation", they probably understand more than we do. Basically I don't know what "the situation" is. Android is still a kodi platform, receiving changes from now and then - the last one by me iirc - some others pick stuff from koying, mrmc picks the videoplayer and the new audio engine from us - so taking and giving.

Oh, I totally misunderstood you. You seem to think that MrMC could only get a Shield from Nvidia by saying Kodi was completely dead? I only meant that Nvidia is aware that Kodi has an unclear future for Android.

Nvidia is giving Shields out like candy to any dev seems worthwhile. One does simply call Nvidia (with a good app) and get away with a Shield.
