I've been trying since last night. It downloads, then freezes the download and the speed st drops to 0B (!) a second. I tried another media fire and it worked so it's just this file. I'll try again tomorrow though. Thanks

Im finding out that the ratings avi files in here will not work when DXVA is on. When these were made DXVA wasnt even avail.

These forums need a rep system. You'd get a ton just from the work you've done in this thread! Thanks again!

Thought that some people would be interested in custom intros for xbmc. First off there is a script Cinema experience add on which will let you run custom intros in xbmc before a movie.

Check out this site. VIPIDME

here is an example of what I did really quick. PIXAR INTRO

You can make three custom intros however cannot download them. you can share. But I think the 14.99 price tag to make 2 1080 and 2 720 intros is not bad at all. Im not affiliated with the site.. just passing it on incase someone is interested.

check it out.

Nah, this is all a hobby for everyone. There is a large majority of people that do a lot more than I do in here. I mean look at the software in general and all these coders. I'm just an enthusiastic fan.

steppedup Wrote:Finally - I've written a quick guide on exactly what is HTE - which then links an article on how to quickly configure HTE using the information that SlaveUnit has provided. And that article in turn links to another article on how to use HTE.

Hope it helps!

The above link is dead. can you please post a new link?

It's a crap workaround but the site is google cached. Here is the first link. Just google the others and clicked on "cached".

you should update the first post with the vipidme.com site and provide some examples of the site. I think people would like to have access to a site like that to make their own intros.

very nice icky. love the tron ones Smile

if you are planning on making anymore or if anyone is. i was wondering if you would want to include a slides.xml file.

i'm not sure how best to handle themes. i thought in the xml.

example:
Code:
<slides mpaa="PG-13" theme="George Lucas | Science Fiction | Star Wars">
    <slide>
        <question format="Q[0-9]+.jpg" />
        <clue format="Q[0-9]+c.jpg" />
        <answer format="Q[0-9]+a.jpg" />
    </slide>
</slides>
For python coding questions first see http://mirrors.xbmc.org/docs/python-docs/

Not too sure what you mean, as none of my slides are q and a style.... what part would i need to put in the xmlHuh

If you can explain, then by all means i am willing to put the xml file in the pack :-)

SlaveUnit Wrote:UPDATE 4/13/2020:
Added large pack with most of the things I have acquired. It is almost 6GB.

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=2SR9H1YV - Part 7
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZWRDC7YN - Part 8

Code:
curl -O http://xbmc.exstatic.org/XBMC%20Home%20Theater%20Experience%20Script%20Media/XBMC%20Home%20Theater%20Experience%20Script%20Media.part[001-105].rar

That should help people with slower internet connections or if something gets broken 1/2 way through. You can just resume from the rar you need to.
There are also PAR files in that folder.

NFO file with file list.

File List Here: http://exstatic.org/263/XBMC_Home_Theate...rience.txt
Mainly because of my utter distain for MegaUpload and the fact that the torrent took nearly 3 days to finish.

For those with Usenet (I've never done anything less than maxed out my internet connection with Usenet):
http://exstatic.org/264/XBMC_Home_Theate...rience.nzb

Your tar is 4gb and the txt listing does not seem to have everything. I don't think taring over raring is going to compress another 2gb. I would just hold off on posting this because I am going to redo the MEGA Pack here shortly. I have more now plus people don't need my Fox intro.
