OS X Since Frodo b2 Playback stutter after 1 hour, 2 minutes and 8 seconds
Wow! I never had this problem, but am hugely impressed that after all this time, you had the persistence and energy to figure out that strange bug, no matter how it got there. At the very least I hope everyone who had that bug ups your reputation! Congratulations Memphiz.
LibreELEC 10.0.4 * ViMediaManager or TinyMediaManager | Raspberry pi 4b
Sharing media from NAS via NFS (optical out to receiver, HDMI to TV) | TV remote with CEC / Bluetooth keyboard
Awesome! Way to go, Memphiz! :D
Thanks Memphiz!

I'm deeply impressed by your persistance, and again, a big thank you!!

Memphiz, does this mean the changes that have broken all the audio (specifically correct source channel ids) since 12.0 can be reverted? It would be nice to be able to move past the old 12.0 client on our Macs here.

If not, is there anything we could do to get this looked at. Like reaching out to anyone or paying for a consultant to fix the audio engine?
Looking at the amount of participation from Windows and linux devs here http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=170338 you're better off with one of those OS's, it's a sad but true fact.
pifff Smile

Sadly, that's not an option for us. Not only do both have issues working with our house control system, they don't even properly support our Harmony Remote. :/
If there's anything we can do to assist with the process, like donating for hiring a consultant to work on the audio engine, let us know.

Yes, and it's a fat bug ;-)

On a side note, I've used XBMC+Win8 (under bootcamp) for a while and gone back to OSX as it painfully reminded me why I did switch to OSX nine years ago. It was nothing to do with XBMC but the OS itself. Just my personal experience, not trying to start a "this vs that" BS.
Never mind, wrong thread.
Hi all

Could this updated build be adjusted for the CrystalHD card in video output settings please?
Hooraaayy! Huge thanks to Memphiz. It's a huge relief to know that this crazy bug is finally understood.

My question is: which stable release is this fix going to show up in? (I'm afraid I don't have the stomach for nightly's) I've been living with this so long that a little more time won't make any difference. I'd just like to know.

Thanks again!
Gotham 13.0 and Frodo 12.3 if and only if we do a 12.3 Point Release at all.

Hopefully 12.3 won't be far off, and it should be included in that.
