I don't know about windows, but in linux open the file
~/.xbmc/addons/plugin.video.aljazeera/addon.py
find the line that starts with rtmpurl and replace the whole line with the line amiosamy posted.
The fix in windows should be similar, but I don't know where your addon.py file would be kept.

Just sent the PR with a fix for Frodo. Should take a day or so before it shows up on your machines.

Hey guys, I just finished a major code revision/cleanup. My initial motivation was to make sure all the "Programs" worked. That is now fixed, and the stream quality should be better also. News clips are broken/not implemented.

If you want to test this version, remove the folder .xbmc/addons/plugin.video.aljazeera then in the folder .xbmc/addons/, run "git clone [email protected]:bkanuka/xbmc-aljazeera.git plugin.video.aljazeera"

This is not the "proper" way to install things, so don't do it if you don't know how to fix things when they break.

With the upcoming launch of Al Jazeera America (beginning this Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013), Al Jazeera has blocked content on their AJEnglish website to viewers in the US (specifically, the news clips). I have two questions: 1) is it possible to get a proxy as a work-around for this issue, and 2) will you be making the AJAmerica channel viewable through the add-on?

This blocking the English site stinks.
I did not use this plug-in much, I used the YouTube plug-in mostly.
Al Jazeera America has a YouTube channel but it seems pretty empty to me.
Add this to my list of why I dropped cable.
