My H.264 movies doesn't work via the media server, it ould be nice if they did. It works on PS3 Media Server.

XBMC does nothing for PS3.
XBMC will Not Be on/for PS3, unless a 3rd Party writes it themselves.
the way that PS3 reads files from XBMC is uPnP.
XBMC does not transcode.

OK, transcoding was what I was looking for. Too bad.
