I'm running XBMC 10.1 on a Thunderbolt Mini running Lion, however I saw this issue with XBMC 10.1 running on a 2010 Mini running Snow Leopard as well.
I'm using a Harmony 680 configured as a Plex remote and I'm using the built in IR receiver on the mini. XBMC is configured for true OpenGL fullscreen mode, (i.e. fakefullscreen=false.)
When I start XBMC or come back to a running instance after many hours of idling, it doesn't respond to the remote. If I VNC into the machine, select and start a video with the arrow keys and enter then the video will play. After a certain amount of time playing, the remote will start to work.
Having to VNC in to start a video is a PITA and not very wife friendly. Is there something I need to do to get the remote to work reliably? I have a USB MS media center receiver that I could attach, but I'm not sure about driver support for it.
