HOW-TO post about a Kodi/XBMC for Mac or Apple TV problem in a useful manner
#1
Things we want from EVERY report:

OSX Version (eg. 10.4 10.5, 10.6, etc)
Platform (eg. AppleTV, MacBook, PB170, etc.)
Launcher version if AppleTV.
Install Method (Launcher, dmg, scp, other)
Version of Kodi/XBMC
Detailed Instructions to Reproduce the Problem (The more specific the better.)
FULL Debug Log (wiki) (Please use your favorite paste site! See below.) << NOT OPTIONAL!

GUI Problems (Navigation, Finding options, Setup, Labels, etc):
Skin name

Playback Problems:
Video codec and container.
Audio codec and container.
MediaInfo output ( goggle mediainfo for where to obtain it for your platform)
You may also be asked for a sample.

Other things that may be useful:
System hardware specs (CPU, RAM, Chipset, etc.)

"Latest" is a completely useless version!
When referring to the version of something, ALWAYS be as detailed as possible. Saying you're using the latest version of something is wrong the second it is updated, and completely useless to someone looking for help on a similar problem in the future.

How do I find my architecture?
Run "uname -m" in a terminal.

How do I find my SVN revision number?
From home screen in default PM3 skin...
Open the shutdown menu (Red icon at bottom right)
Chose "System Info" (Left most menu item)
SVN Revision is at the bottom of each page (XBMC SVN: #####)

Where is my debug log?
This depends on your platform.

APPLETV:
xbmc.log: /Users/frontrow/Library/Logs/kodi.log
Console log: /Library/Logs/Console/501/console.log
Crashreporter log: /Users/frontrow/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/CrashReporter.log

ALL OTHERS:
xbmc.log: /Users/<username>/Library/Logs/kodi.log
Crashreporter log: /Users/<username>/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/
xbmc.bin_<datestamp>.crash

Paste any logs to your favorite paste site. If you post it, you will get thrashed.
