I have searched around for this, how can i hide all photo data, file name, size etc, when viewing a folder of photos please? I just want to enjoy the pictures without any clutter!

If you press the left arrow a pane will slide out from the left of the screen. On this you can change the view options.

And if you can't find any views that matches what you were thinking of you can try out a few other skins/themes. Aeon NOX, Night, reFocus, etc are pretty "clean" interfaces which you might like.
