Hey guys...since we're on the subject of SFF unRAID.. I need to replace the 2port SATAII PCIe card i currently have for unRAID with a 4port option. i want to add a cache drive and possibly one additional data drive. The MOBO+GPUi I'm using is the same one recommended in this thread ZOTAC GF6100-E-E AM2+/AM2 nForce 430 MCP Mini-ITX.
Ques #1: Is this possible/compatible with unRAID?
Quest#2: If it is possible, which 4port option would be compatible with this MOBO?
.....i dont like problems

An alternative case for this build might be this one -
Lian Li PC-Q25B The issue with this case seems to be finding a PS that fits the case.

Can the 5.25 optical drive bay be used as an additional drive bay resulting in 7 drive capacity? Sorry if this was already mentioned.

You would need something like this to add more than 6 drives http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6816132018
TV: LG LH423000 HTPC: A6 3500 HTPC on Win8 x64 STORAGE: unRaid (Currently with 8.5TB) REMOTE: Logitech Harmony 520 SOUND SYSTEM: Samsung HT-E5530 My Setup |

That's a PCI card. You need a PCIe card for the recommended motherboard on this thread.

Ah that makes sense. Why is a 4 port sata pci-e card so much more expensive ?
