In the last week I've purchased both a Linksys AE1000 and Netgear WNDA3100v2 to use with XBMC Live Dharma. After following multiple guides for both devices and spending at least 10 hours trying, neither has worked.
The card I'm currently using is a generic using the Ralink RT2501USB wireless G chipset and it worked out of the box.
I thought the Linksys was going to work out of the box, but no luck. I'm sick of working on this and it's taken me far too much time already.
So, which cards are you using that work well without any setup? My requirements are wireless N with dual-band and WPA2 support, but that's a lot of cards.
Anyone have any suggestions? The two I have are going back to Amazon. I've also reviewed the Ubuntu page that has the list, but it also indicated that the Netgear and Linksys would work.
