Hello,

How can I go about changing the default event server port from port 9777?

I am using the official xbmc remote via 3g. It works great on my bedroom setup. The problem is I have 4 other xbmc machines and want to also use the remote on those. I need a different port for each machine to get it to work properly.

I searched a few files on xbmc via winscp but could not find an xml file related to the event server port. If anyone could point me in the right direction as to which file to edit, or another way to change the default port I would appreciate it.

This would have been a lot easier if we were still able to change it under settings>remote control in the skin GUI.

(running xbmc live 10.1 on 3 acer revo 3700, and 2 windows pcs)

I have the same issue, can not find any info on where/how to change the event server port within XBMC. Looking at it in the wiki, it appears as though it used to be possible. Here's a pic of the config screen that doesn't exist anymore....
