Hi all,
I just put across all my old hardware to make up an unraid server as follow:-
ASUS P5KPL on a celeron D430
1GB x 4 DDR2 RAM
NVIDIA GTS250 display (I think)
1TB x 2 of WD10EARS-00Y5B1
1.5T x 1 of ST31500341AS as parity
Now thru the web admin, I can able to format all drives slowly and my question are as follow:-
a). the unraid is now boot off from an USB drive, but I have a ATA160GB HD hook up in the ATA cable. Can I use this as a main OS drive ?
b). how can i install XBMC onto this server as I wanted to use this box as a server as well as the media center.. does anyone know any links / step to step guide to type of those install procedure ??
c). I got a Philips SRM5100 wmc and wonder if it works with XBMC....
your advise is really appreciated...
