Hello.
I bought an AsRock ION 3D Series a couple of weeks ago and wanted to install XBMC on it. Or I have installed XBMC on it, both windows, ubuntu 10.10 and ubuntu 11.04. 11.04 is the most stable one but I have one probloem.
Lirc dont come with Nuvoton IR support like AsRock uses. I dont know if it's python they are writing the "Plugin IR support files" or what but I know that AsRock is Very slow in building em for linux. They have a rls for 10.10, but that dont seems to work on 11.04 (if anyone have got it working please write here!)
So I wonder, is there anyone that have the skills and kindness to change their 10.10 .deb installation file so it would work on Ubuntu 11.04?
The files is found on AsRock webpage..: http://www.asrock.com/nettop/overview.as...D%20Series
To the left u see Downloads and then "Drivers and Utilitys for Linux". The last one is said: "CIR receiver driver and source code for Ubuntu 10.10 32/64 bit ver:1.1.0 (kernel 2.6.35-22)"
So anyone that know python or what it is and can modify this file or soething to work with lirc 11.04 ?
Best regards, optiix.
