[Linux] XBMC Hanging [AppleTV1-Crystalbuntu]
#1
I have a problem where I play a MKV that I've ripped using MakeMKV. I've made the rip of the same Blu-ray twice now and it hangs in the exact same spot.

When this happens the video freezes and the audio continues. All I can do is stop playing, restart and fast-forward past the part where it hangs. If I try to fast forward after it hangs I get nothing but the audio. I've also left it playing for several minutes only to return to find that audio is continuing but the video is frozen.

I have the -15 CrystalHD card and am using the November release of XBMC on Crystalbuntu.

Logs:

The movie starts at 19:00:35 - Title = Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope

Any assistance or direction you guys can give in helping me sort this out is appreciated. If there's anything else I should try please let me know.

Thanks!

Aware of this problem. It is caused by an EPG issue that is thrashing the IO, even when LiveTV is not enabled. If you check the forum you can revert to the October 29 nightly, at loss of LiveTV.
