I kept meaning to document this, finally got around to it. Basically you can access all files on the ATV2 as if the ATV2 was some kind of flash drive (by using a program to browse it, so no "disk" mounting). Useful if you are having network problems and need to pull logs out, or want to throw some video files directly on it without any network at all.
