Sorry for thedouble post, but I think my question belongs here..
Im a new xbmc user for movies/tv but would like to dive into using addons. Ive installed and configured several but can find a way to "launch' them. Is there something Im missing,

Im using windows 7 xbmc 10.1 and Aeon nox skin

go to programs and launch the from there.
if video addons -> video add-ons
and music -> music add-ons

what add ons have you installed, are they skins, video add-on, movie add-on

Mainly video

foxnews live
ice films
diy
hgtv
nat geo
etc..

Just checked 'programs' and they arent there.
The do show up in addons-video addons, but All I can do is install/uninstall/configure them

just hit 'ENTER' when focussed

When I click on addons then vido addons, a list comes up of enabled addons, when I click one, an 'addon information' popup comes up and gives me a few choices like update/uninstal/configure/etc.. Thoe are the only selections that arent 'greyed out'

Im sure its something simple, but I havent stumbled on it yet.

I cant focus on anything other than the update/configure/uninstall/ selections until I colse the popup and then Im back at the list of enabled addons, which returns me to the addon info popup when I click on anything.

You are in the add-on install section now


on the main menu you have 'videos'
Go to there and then at the bottom you should have 'video add-ons'
from there you can start them.

Bingo.. Thank you! That worked, I guess the reason I couldnt stumble on it is that I had 'ticked' the "dont show video menu on home screen' in the skin config.
