Hello,

I am currently trying to update to Eden Beta 1 through NitoTV but I am not quite sure how/what I am supposed to update once in NitoTV.

Is the update located in 'install software' tab or 'settings' or 'manage' or 'RSS Feeds', and should it be updated through 'update all' or a certain package?

Thanks I appreciate any help in advance.

For some reason NitoTV didn't list it as needing an update, but if you select "install" for XBMC it will install Beta 1.

I've tried all the suggestions: Update through NitoTV (even though it doesn't show an update available) I tried the link instructions:

apt-get update
apt-get upgrade

And it still won't upgrade. It still shows the Dec 10 build.

I have downloaded the file manually. Any help in applying it is greatly appreciated.

From the terminal try doing:

apt-get update
apt-get dist-upgrade

dist-upgrade will install any new dependencies required for the new version of xbmc. This just worked for me.

I have a basic setup which has been Jailbroken using Seas0npass. I have a few problem with buffering though and wish to upgrade as advised to resolve this. I followed the relevant link and using putty SSH to my box run the command apt-get upgrade, but whilst this appeared to do something my version still remains the same one. Any help please.
