[Guide] Open-source Unicode typefaces/fonts

The Following Fonts are Free to Download, Safe to Redistribute & Compatible with Multiple Languages

Please consider before designing/building a skin

'The phrase open source describes practices in production and development that promote free redistribution and access to the end product's source materials.'
'A Unicode font (also known as UCS font and Unicode typeface) is a computer font that contains a wide range of characters, letters, digits, glyphs, symbols, ideograms, logograms, etc.'

When you use any font, include a copy of the fonts licence within your skins font folder

Because of their suitability with user interfaces, a conscious decision to only include Sans-serif fonts was made

Please report any dead links & images / You can help improve this thread by suggesting fonts you think should be included

Updated: Added Open Sans.

After testing all of the typefaces above, I have come to the conclusion that Open Sans is my favourite.

Thanks, I wasn't aware of all of those variations. As well as changing the links I've given credit to you, and moved Roboto up the list.
