Sorry if this has been asked, I've searched but couldn't find anything so ...

... long time user of live and now xbmcbuntu, but I have to replace the PC in the lounge for my wife with a Windows PC, don't ask, and the remote buttons are wildly different

Does anyone have the mappings or a way I can get the same actions under both live and Windows to ease the complications around the house?

Microsoft (eHome) and compatible remotes are handled differently in Windows. The usual trick is to make them emulate a keyboard. Have a look at http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Usi...in_Windows for the details.

NB this is a config change to Windows not the remote, and it won't affect how the remote works in XBMCBuntu.
