I finally got my zotac zbox plus going last night. I have to say that it certainly is a nice little unit. I shelled out only $250 for it, and its going to be less with the newegg rebate.
Video: Looks great. HDMI output is crisp in both windows and linux
Audio: Clear. Only tried through the HDMI port but was happy with how things sounded.
Pros: Small. Flat. Has USB3 ports. Upgrading the HD is very easy. Lots of bios options. EVERYTHING works without any difficult tweaks. Esata works fantastic. USB3. Audio/video is great. Driver CD covers everything. Handles standby much better than a few other units I've played with. Setup in windows or linux should be a breeze.
Cons: DVD is not easy to replace if it goes bad. Media Center remote needs to be hooked directly into a USB port. Can't boot USB3 ports.
Overall, I think if you want a good unit then this is probably the way to go. At $200 AR from newegg the price is right. 1080 video plays fine across the network without any issues.
