[ATV2] SMB share is constantly being lost

I have XBMC Eden RC2 installed on my ATV2, for some reason since installing RC2 on it, XBMC constantly looses access to my SMB share

The SMB share points to my Desktop - to resolve the issue, I just have to restart my desktop, but it's now starting to be a pain in the a**e

Any idea??

Use the ip address of your server instead of its name. That is more reliable.

Also you have a problem with your database being corrupted. It will need to be deleted.

Code:

rm -f /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/userdata/Database/*db

having the same problem since upgrading to rc2. hopefully this is fixed in the upcoming versions. never had a problem before rc2.

i downgraded to the beta version to fix the issue using this method.

Nothing changed in samba code since beta phase. Are you sure beta version behaves different here?

The same problem remains - even after setting the share to my IP Address - Very frustrating!!

I am seeing this issue also since upgrading from B3 to RC2.
