Iv just done a fresh install of eden live and was woundering what the cleanest way of editing the audio so i can have navigation sounds whats the best command to use:

nano ~/.asoundrc
or
nano /etc/asound.conf

Whats the difference between the 2

~/.asoundrc will only be applied to the user's session

/etc/asound.conf will be applied to all sessions

Was wondering what you put into the conf file? As it may help my problem trying to get stereo sound at all out of my setup ;(
