i'm trying to autostart a playlist with xmbc, is this possible?, I've seen an option on skin - > general but I can't make it work

can anyone help me?

Create the playlist using the instructions here: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Playlists and then in the Settings -> Skin -> General section, you pick the location of the playlist file (not sure what system you are using so can't help you as to what folder it is in) but all the file locations are at the bottom of that same wiki page.

I' ve got it, change xps playlist to m3u playlist and your solutions work
