can someone recommend some video capture cards to use with Openelec PVR Builds to watch and if possible record tv i need to set one up for my mother who wants to get a dvr but i told her this might be a better option seeing as she already has a openelec machine i built for her which i load a bunch of tv shows or movies onto there for her from time to time

i have been using openelec for a while now but never tried their pvr versions

The openelec.tv hardware page gives a list of working TV cards, personally I use a PS3 PlayTV external USB tuner and it works fine.
