Win MKV refuses to show subs?
#1
Hello there!

Just got into the whole XBMC thing, after I got myself a media center.
The videos runs smooth on the ion2 machine and I couldn't be happier, but...!

Everytime I run a .mkv file with a sub on it, then it refuses to display it or even regonize it at all, even though they are present when I run the file with vlc player, or any other application.
If I provide a seperate sub, then there is no problem however - But sadly I'm so anal about it, and it irritates me alot!

Anyone fine gentleman or lady who could tell me what I do wrong? Because that would be fantastic! (Could be I forgot something!)

Cheers! Smile

Included subs work jsut fien for me and my mkv files.

However, XBMC can grab subtitles for you! While playing, bring up the OSD and select teh icon furthest to the right. There, you can get XBMC to grab a subtitle for y ou. You can also set it up to automatically gab the first 'sync' subtitle.(and add your own source website, too)

Go to Settings - Options - Subtitles, for options on placement, and other options.
