noob question about subtitles

Have a newbie question about subtitles. I have a few dvd rips that have subtitles on them either in sweedish or english. I can get VLC media player to disable the subtitles but can't figure out how to do it in XBMC. I am using Eden 11 and the confulence skin.

while playing a movie, hit audio menu in OSD(little speaker) and disable subs in it
