Linux Checking Battery State Startup Failure
#1
I have just installed XBMCbuntu on a new HTPC and after the initial install if it is rebooted it gets stuck at 'Checking Battery State'. I have a GT 430 for my GPU.

The only thing I have found that works is if i Ctrl+Alt+F1 and execute 'sudo service lightdm start' then XBMC will finish starting. However if I reboot I have to reenter that. What can I do that will allow me to not be stuck at bootup?

Thanks

Yeah adding a delay worked. Thanks I don't know how I didn't see that while searching for something

I actually found that thread through a Google search, which sometimes gives better results than the built-in Search function for the forums.
