I have a power mac g5 dual 2.7ghz (PPC) with xbmc 11.0 eden installed. I have a synology NAS with my xbmc db stored directly on it as a mysql centralized database. All my other machines: intel macbook pro, appletv 2, appletv1 can access and play movies fine, but not on my power mac g5. It seems to hang for a long time when i select a movie to watch and after awhile it pops up a window saying file not located do i want to remove it from my library. What gives? Is it because the PPC version of xbmc can't use NFS?

Post a new log with debugging turned on in settings->system>debugging.
Might be that nfs is broken on PPC yes, because nobody was able to test it before eden release.

I fear no. Don't see anything helpfull in the log (imho there are even printouts missing). Since we are phasing out PPC support in the next release - and nfs support was introduced brand new for eden you should consider nfs support broken for ppc.
