Hello!

Firstly, this is my first post on this forum, so take it easy on me Big Grin

After installing a PVR version of XBMC on my HTPC and getting it to work correctly, I'm now happy to stop using Media Centre all together. I Love XBMC to bits and believe that lately it’s the best thing since sliced bread.

However, I have a sound card (asus Xonar D1) installed in my build, and it uses a piece of software (Audio Centre). There’s a feature on there id like to continue to use "SVN" Smart Volume Normalization. I find this very useful for my setup. Media centre used to push the audio through this piece of software, you could tell because the audio EQ bars would move. However I've noticed it doesn’t do this with XBMC, it seems to be bypassing it (no bar activity).

Is there anyway you can force it to go through this?

Thanks for your help.
Chris

Sounds like audio passthrough is enabled in your settings. Check in Settings/System/Audio output and uncheck the "capable receiver" options.

You can make easy links to the XBMC wiki using double brackets around words: [[debug log]] = debug log, [[Add-on:YouTube]] = Add-on:YouTube, [[Adding videos to the library]] = Adding videos to the library, [[userdata]] = userdata, etc
