I use a xbox 360 controller ( wireless) for my htpc but sometimes xbmc act as if I push reapetetly one button, some times it's not that bad ( when it's a direction ) but some time it's the "enter" button which become problematic...( in a movie or worse advance launcher that launch many exe at the same time)...
what do you think?

happen again this time with the "up" direction...

Have a look at the batteries and the strength of the wireless connection for the controller (too far away or blocked).

My guess is that xbmc never received the "let go of up" command. Press "up" a few more times to send the "let go".

It could be a batteries stuff indeed, why not...this problem suddenly appear so...thanks for your answer!

Well, now I m sure it is not the battery nor the signal the causes of the problem...I tried with the two last alpha frodo ( 4 &5 i think) and the problem ocure again...switch back to eden rc2 and no problem at all...rc2 eden don t have input option like frodo does...I can not upload a log right now but I. Think the previous one still tells something...
The problem is when I come back to xbmc from an exe (with adavnced launcher) input get,sometime, stuck in one way, when it s a direction : no harm done, but if it s a button, advanced launcher start several time the exe witch cause crash ...too much ressources!!!
I can not get eden because it crashes when controller goes idle, frodo alpha have other problem, I m still waiting for an eden fix with patience....but now it s been a long time!!!
Is this problem of repeting input investigate by the dev?
