Audio failed to initialize, Check audio settings

I'm on Windows 7, Eden build.
TA75M Mobo with AMD A6 3500.
I always get this error whenever I play videos with DTS / dolby sounds.
and no matter what I try I can't seem to get it.

How do you connectHTPC to surround sound system?

I refused to watch movie without bitstreaming HD audio!

Via HDMI, forgot to include.
Video Output from PC is through HDMI cable.

I connect the htpc straight to tv, no av system in between

Try these configs then...

1. If you installed Realtek codec, you can un-install it.
2. Update the latest AMD driver from here- AMD Driver Autodetect
3. Select AMD HDMI output in Windows 7 control panel
4. Config XBMC as shown below-

this method seems to work, So, I just have to untick the options of receiver?

I've had this problems also with audio over HDMI, as you've discovered the solution to this is to disable the settings under down mixing.
