Hi,

I have now searched endlessly on these forums and google, could not find an answer.

I have a Intel i3 based server running with ubuntu server 12.04, running XBMC eden, and can't get playback to work, when enabling VAAPI acceleration.

When selecting an h264 file (mkv) the file is played without any picture, and an duration bar ticking away. I kan see the menus, and when I press
the stop button, xbmc freezes. And I have to kill it.

Havn't got to fixing the sound jet, but I don't assume that has any impact on video playback.
