I got the spec for my new HTPC build.
it will consist on:
AMD A6-3500 3x2.1Ghz/2.4Ghz HD6530D FM1
ASRock A75M-ITX FM1 CIR USB3.0 SATAIII UEFI mITx

Now i need to find out a remote control for it so I could turn it on/off and control xbmc.
I have a LCD and receiver I need it to control so I could in 1 button open the tv set it to hdmi open receiver and open htpc to load xbmc.

I was thinking to get harmony 650 + HP IR receiver from Ebay but after reading lots of complaints I would like to consult with you guys.

What remote + IR receiver would you recommend me using?

That's a pretty good combo. I too, use a tv/avr/htpc and the same remote. There is much info and help here about getting it set up, if you have any issues.

do you have link to ebay seller?

I believe your board is compatible

If you're interested in just sleep/wake, then any MCE compatible remote/dongle will work (ie. the hp receiver)

search the threads, there are a ton of guides on remotes

Thanks, my main task would be sleep/wake so I guess I will take the harmony 650 with hp receiver.
