I am having an issue with the sound working for both XBMC and WMC. I has isolated it to the exclusive mode in the HDMI settings. To do HD audio in XBMC I need to have exclusive mode on but to watch TV in WMC I need to have it off. I recently did a clean install of windows. Before then everything worked without a problem like this but now I have to change that setting back and forth. My audio goes through an HD6450 via the hdmi. In XBMC I use Wasapi in the audio section. From what I have read WMC doesn't support Wasapi exclusive mode but somehow I had it working previously so there must be a way to do it.

What can I try?
